PrizeShowdown

A bingo-style showdown where every burst can flip the board. Match the balls, fill your tickets, merge them into monsters — and take your place on the podium.

The Rageful Yeti — a grumpy-cute cartoon yeti with crossed arms, surrounded by a burst of colorful game balls under carnival marquee lights

Feel a burst

This is the real core loop, shrunk down for the web. Fire a burst, watch your three tickets fill, and chase a full board.

Simplified demo rules. In the full game, matches are marked by tapping your tickets — Joker by ticket tap, Wild by tapping the number you want everywhere.

How it plays

One room, one entry ticket, three tickets on your board. Simple to learn — the merging is where it gets mean.

1

The burst drops

Every burst fires 7 number balls plus 1 bonus ball from a pool of 1–30. Everybody in the room plays the same burst — no lucky draws, just lucky boards.

2

Mark your matches

Your game runs 3 tickets at once, holding 3 to 15 numbers depending on tier. Tap a ticket to mark its matches — a “?” spot takes the next lowest burst ball you haven't used.

3

Complete & merge

Fill a ticket and it merges upward into a bigger one. Completed small tickets are how the big Tier 5 boards get built — and a finished T5 banks serious points, clears, and refills you with fresh T1s.

4

Take the podium

When the match ends, it's straight to the podium — no “play again” maze. Standard games pay out Blitz Coins by placement; tournaments send you on to the next buy-in.

The bonus ball

Ball number eight is never just a number. Four kinds of chaos ride in that slot:

JOKER

Joker

Tap any ticket and the Joker fills its first unmarked spot. Your pick of where it hurts most.

WILD

Wild

Tap a number and the Wild marks every copy of it across all your tickets at once.

BLITZ

Blitz

Fires the instant it lands — no tapping, no waiting. Fast, dramatic, and the penalty is real when it backfires.

+70

Number bonus

A straight shot of Blitz Coins — 70, 15, 10, or 5 — banked on the spot.

Tournaments & the podium

Standard games keep the coins flowing. Tournament rooms are where the two-week grind lives.

  • Rooms run in 2-week periods, in parallel — jump into the room that fits your week.
  • Standings count your best 10 games cumulatively, with your best single game breaking ties.
  • Placement earns prize entries — 5 for 1st, 3 for 2nd, 2 for 3rd, 1 each for 4th–10th.
  • Period-end coins: 500 / 300 / 150 for the podium, 50 for the rest of the top 10 — plus a sponsor-prize drawing.
  • Real-time matches: step away and the game fast-forwards honestly on your return — bots played the bursts you missed, and missed bursts are gone.

Where the build stands

Prize Showdown is in active development. The order of battle was set early — and prizes come last, on purpose.

  1. Phase 1

    Core loop Built

Bursts, tickets, merging, tiers, real-time matches with catch-up — the game itself, playable end to end.

  2. Phase 2

    Polish & cosmetics In progress

The 213-item shop is in, animated podium medallions are in, video-loop backgrounds are live. The carnival-stub ticket template is the current art pass.

  3. Phase 3

    Ads Next

Standard games carry network ads; the tournament lobby-fill slot belongs to sponsors. Front-door entry only — never mid-match.

  4. Phase 4

    Multiplayer Planned

Real rooms, real rivals, live standings — built on the real-time match engine that's already running.

  5. Phase 5

    Sweepstakes prizes Final phase

Tournament prize pools under $5,000, with a signed publicity release at claim — your photo only ever appears with your permission, and declining never costs you a prize.
